Dell has officially launched its new S2340T Multitouch Display on the US market, the first multitouch display with a flexible design. The Dell S2340T uses IPS LCD panel for a ultra wide viewing angle of 178/178-degree and LED-backlight for better contrast and low power consumption.
Dell’s new multitouch display is ideal for use with Windows 8 for interactive experience. Thanks to the flexible multi-position articulating stand, the user have the option to tilt the monitor forward and backward, or completely flat for playing interactive games or drawing.
The monitor comes with specs such as a Full HD 1920×1080 resolution, it has a 270cd/m2 brightness, 1000:1 typical contrast ratio and 8 million:1 dynamic contrast. It also has an integrated webcam, microphone and speaker. There are a few connectivity options as well, these includes DisplayPort, HDMI inputs, and USB 3.0, Ethernet and headphone and microphone connectors.
Dell is already offering the new Window 8 compatible monitor, it can be found on the company’s website for a retail price of $649.99 per unit.
