Dell has announced a new semi-rugged Notebook PC, the Latitude E6410 ATG Notebook. This new ATG Version is based on the Latitude E6410 Notebook and was tested to meet the Military STD 810F for shock, vibration, temperature, humidity and altitude, increasing productivity regardless of location or terrains. It features a 14.1-inch outdoor viewable display with 1280×800 resolution and also includes the Dell ControlVault for secure authentication and data protection, including fingerprint scanner, built-in contactless card reader, and embedded one-time-password token capability.
The Latitude E6410 ATG is powered your choice of either an Intel Core i5 or i7 processor running at up to 2.66GHz, up to a 500GB 7200RPM hard drive, onboard Intel HD graphics card, either a DVD burner or Blu-ray Drive and up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM. The E6410 ATG also offers optional Bluetooth 3.0, Ethernet LAN, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n and also optional Wireless 5620 (EVDO+HSPA+AGPS) or Dell Wireless 5540 (HSPA+AGPS) Mobile Broadband Mini Card.
The Dell Latitude E6410 ATG is expected to start at a price of $1,779.
