Dell has unveiled the world’s first Baidu Yi-powered smartphone in Beijing which has been dubbed the Dell Streak Pro D43. The Streak Pro comes equipped with a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD touchscreen display with a 960×540 pixel resolution which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and has a silica gel on its exterior that gives off a luxurious yet low-profile look.
It is powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm dual-core processor which delivers multitasking, a more responsive and smooth delicate screen. There’s a 8-megapixel camera on the rear of the device that delivers high-definition images, autofocus and LED-flash plus it has the ability to record 1080p HD videos plus there’s a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera for video calling. The Streak Pro D43 comes with 8GB of ROM, 1GB of RAM and a microSD slot that supports cards up to 32GB.
Other specifications includes a WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, aGPS, Bluetooth 2.1, USB support, gravity sensor, electronic compass, gyroscope, FM radio, dual-microphone for noise suppression and a 1520 mAh battery that promises 10.8 hours talk time in 2G or 7.8 hours in 3G.
