Elecom TK-FDP055BK Wireless Keyboard

Elecom out of Japan has announced its upcoming wireless keyboard that goes by the model name, TK-FDP055BK. The Wireless Keyboard comes with a compact design that measures 18.5 × 14.0 × 5.5mm, it has 84 keys and a built-in touchpad on the right side of the body which is switchable between touchpad and numeric keypad.
Elecom TK-FDP055BKThe Elecom TK-FDP055BK features a 2.4GHz radio frequency which enables the keyboard to still operate at up to 10 meters away, thanks to its tiny USB receiver. The keyboard requires two AA batteries to operate for a duration of 4 months, it supports use with Windows 8, Windows 7, Vista and XP.

Elecom TK-FDP055BK TouchpadThe Elecom TK-FDP055BK Wireless Keyboard uses a USB connection plus there’s a built-in battery level indicator to let you know its time to replace the battery. It comes with a black finish and the company will start shipping the peripheral starting mid-December for 8,431 Yen (about $106).

  1. It’s nice, but I think it’s way too expensive. Also, I think it should be Bluetooth capable instead of USB, and include a micro Bluetooth dongle for use on systems without built in Bluetooth.
