enV Touch to be launched by Verizon Wireless on June 5th

It seems as if Verizon Wireless is aiming to steal the thunder of Sprint’s Palm Pre debut on June 6th by releasing their enV Touch on June 5th which is a day early from sprint’s palm release.

Well the Palm Pre is one of the most highly anticipated handset right now but I don’t think the release of the enV touch will sway any protential buyers, however many consumers could be interested since it has a 3.2 megapixel camera with Schneider-Kreuznach lens, 3-inch external and 3-inch internal touchscreen with a 800×480 resolution, on-screen keyboard and EVDO Rev A connectivity.

The enV Touch also supports microSDHC memory card slot and will only cost $149.99 after a $70 mail-in-rebate and a 2 year contract.
