Epesitec has announced the launch of its first “consumer electronics product”, which gets the name E516 Android Tablet PC. It comes with an 7-inch Capacitive Touchscreen display with double touch capability, it is powered by a Freescale 1.2 GHz processor with PowerVR Series5 GPU, it gets 512MB of RAM and 4GB of NAND Flash Storage.
Specifications continues with 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, it has a 3-megapixel camera on the rear of the device as well as one on the front for video calls but its resolution is unknown. Other than its 4GB of NAND Flash Memory it also has an integrated microSD card slot, it has a TV-out port and it runs the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.
The Epesitec tablet will be available in two different versions; the above mentioned E516 model with 3G module for $249 and the E515 model that only has WiFi connectivity and it goes for $189, both models will begin shipping on November 1, 2011.
