Epson has announced its new PowerLite Pilot Connection and Control Box that were both designed to deliver multimedia management for short-throw and ultra-short throw classroom projectors. They basically serve as a hub that can be used to control projectors contented to it. The Powerlite Pilot is a all-in-one solution for connecting and managing audio and video sources such as computers, DVD players and more.
The Pilot is wall-mountable and comes with large buttons for easy operations, it has a cover that hides all the cables one they are all in place so the won’t cause problems or being pulled out accidentally. The control box is also wall-mountable and was designed to be placed next to the projected image and give the user the option to change video source, adjust volume and other function thus eliminating the need for a projector remote. The Powerlite Pilot is expected to be launched in June for $249 and ships with an interactive pen holder that attaches to the side of the box while there are optional accessories that will be launched as well.
