Epson has unveiled a new series of projectors, the Offirio series of ultra-short focus projectors. They recently released the first two models in the series, they are the Offirio EB-435W and EB-430. Both devices comes with the ability of projecting to a distance of about half the normal projector due to the ultra-short focus lens.
Because of the lens both projectors can be placed right next to the projection surface which makes them ideal for use in small offices, classrooms and conference areas. They both feature a 3000 lumens brightness which enables the projectors to even project images clearly in bright daylight indoors, a WXGA 1280×800 resolution and a 3000:1 contrast ratio. They are also compatible with the Epson iProjection app for iPhone and iPad that will be launched in January.
Both comes with connectivity options such as video input and output, USB port, HDMI port which allows connection to a variety of devices, audio input/output and a microphone input as well. Both the Epson Ofirio EB-435W and EB-430 Ultra-Short Focus Projectors comes integrated with a 16W speaker. No pricing information announced
