Epson has unveiled a new 13-inch Printer called the Epson Stylus R3000. The R3000 is a photo printer that was developed specially for professional photographers and fine artists. The new printer utilizes Epson’s exclusive technologies such as Epson’s UltraChrome K3 with Vivid Magenta ink technology which works along with the device’s advanced MicroPiezo AMC print head to produce superb quality prints on a range of glossy, matte and fine art papers up to 13-inches wide. There is Epson’s AccuPhoto HD2 image technology which delivers better highlights, shadow details and smoother color transitions, it automatically switches between Photo and Matte black inks to deliver the deepest blacks and richest color on glossy, matte or fine art media. It also offers an advanced Black-and-White Photo Mode which gives professional the option to choose between four pre-set modes, neutral, warm, cool, or sepia for stunning neutral or toned black-and-white prints.
There are also advanced specs including WiFi 802.11n printing, it has a built-in high-speed USB 2.0 port and there is a built-in Ethernet port for connectivity to your home or office network. The Epson Stylus Photo R3000 is expected to be released in March 2011 and will be going for a price of $849.
