Eurocom Ships World’s Largest Mobile SSD in its Mobile Workstations

Eurocom just announced that its now shipping the world’s largest mobile solid state drive, the OCZ Octane SATA III Solid State Drive which comes with 1TB of storage capacity. It comes in a 2.5-inch form factor and comes in its fully upgradeable and customizable notebooks and mobile workstations.

OCZ Octane SSDThe OCZ Octane series utilizes the Indilinx Everest Controller to enhance system responsiveness and enable super fast boot ups. NDurance technology can significantly extend NAND flash life and enhance SSD reliability. Eurocom notebooks are highly configurable and customizable, thus enabling customers to choose the exact type of storage medium and capacity they need combined with RAID 0,1,5,10 support in select notebooks.

Other than its 1TB of storage, it supports RAID 0/1/5/10, shock resistant up to 1500G and delivers a maximum write/read speed of up to 330MBs/460MBs and 32,000 IOPS read performance.
