Canadian carrier, Fido recently announced that they will start offering the LG Optimus L3 to their customers. The carrier will start offering the entry-level device to their customers during Q3 but no exact launch date or pricing details were unveiled.
The Optimus L3 Smartphone from LG comes equipped with entry-level specifications which includes a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display with 240×320 resolution, there’s a 3.2-megapixel camera on the back and lacks a front-facing one. The L3 is powered by an 800MHz single-core processor, there’s 384MB of RAM, 1GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for expanding the storage capacity.
It runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS out the box and it will unlikely get an OS upgrade due to its minimal processing capacity. It gets an FM radio, a 1500mAh battery and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity.
