At the recently held Google I/O conference, the company made a few announcements regarding their upcoming Android 2.2 Froyo Operating System. One of the announcements was that the browser coming with Froyo is the world’s fastest browser for mobile devices and another is that Adobe Flash 10.1 will be coming on the Android 2.2 OS as well.
Even though the announcement regard Flash 10.1 was made, they didn’t reveal what features well will be getting with the new software. Flash 10.1 has settings to save battery life like not playing content that’s not visible on screen; but it also has ways for developers to over-ride that. A public beta of Flash 10.1 on Android will be available first, users will be able to download it from the Android Marketplace when Android 2.2 is released.
