FujiFilm has launched what they are claiming to be the world’s smallest 18x zoom compact camera, the new FinePix S2800HD Digital Camera. The FinePix S2800HD boasts a 14-Megapixel 1/2.3” CCD Sensor and its most highlighted spec, a Fujinon 18x Wide-Angle optical zoom (28mm-504mm equivalent) lens and 3.0-inch high-contrast LCD display.
The S2800HD uses AA Batteries to power and weighs 341g without the batteries. Some noteworthy specs of the camera includes up to ISO 6400 sensitivity settings, 720p HD video recording, Tracking Auto Focus- which allows users to track a moving subject automatically for still picture capture, Dual Image Stabilization technology that reduces blur, Motion Panorama Mode with Auto Stitch and a min HDMI port for connectivity to HDTVs. The FujiFilm FinePix S2800HD Digital Camera should be available starting September for a price of $259.95.
