In addition to its announcement regarding the Finepix S4500 and Finepix S4200, Fujifilm also announced that its X-S1 Digital Camera will also be released on the U.S Market. The new X-S1 camera comes equipped with a 12-Megapixel EXR CMOS image sensor which offers three modes of shooting depending on the lighting conditions, it also offers an EXR mode that enables the camera to choose the right lighting condition.
The X-S1 Camera is also equipped with a Fujinon 26x optical zoom lens with 24mm wide angle, it has the Intelligent Digital Zoom technology, there’s a large 0.47-inch electronic viewfinder (EVF) with 1.44 million pixels and 26-degree viewing angle, it has a high-speed EXR processor to deliver minimal shutter lag allowing high speed continuous shooting of 7fps at full resolution or 10fps at 6 Megapixel resolution.
Other than all the cool features noted above, the X-S1 has the ability to record 1920x1080p Full HD videos with stereo sound at 30fps in the H.264 format and comes with a memory card slot that supports SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards. It is expected to debut on the market later this month and will go for the price of $799.95.
