In addition to the STYLISTIC Q702, Fujitsu also announced their new Lifebook T902 Convertible Tablet PC which is the successor to the Lifebook T901. The new convertible laptop comes with a 13.3-inch HD+ display with dual digitizer with 10-finger multi-touch support. The display is protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass and has a 1600×900 resolution.
The Lifebook T902 is powered by Intel’s Core i5/i7 Ivy Bridge processor, it has up to 16GB of RAM plus it also hosts a wide range of security features, including dedicated Smart Card Slot, biometric fingerprint sensor, it has Computrace support, HDD and BIOS password protection, security panel, and Intel Anti-Theft Technology.
The Lifebook T902 comes with support for Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n plus like the Q702, 3G/LTE mobile broadband support is available as an option. The device can also be equipped with optional SED drive and has a built-in modular bay with quick release latch for easy interchangeability supports second battery, it has the ability to support a second hard drive, Super Multi DVD-RW, Blu-ray burner or weight saver.
The new Lifebook T902 Convertible Tablet PC will come with Windows 7 pre-loaded, it will have a 6-cell battery and modular bay battery combined can provide over 11 hours of use. Fujitsu launched the Lifebook T902 during Q3 and it will go for a suggested retail price of $1,899.
