Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Student Edition Bundle hits stores today for $250

Samsung Electronics announced that its Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 device will be available in a special Student Edition Bundle which should hit stores today, August 19 and run for only two weeks.

Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Student Edition BundleThe Student Bundle includes a Galaxy Tab 2 with a unique white finish, it gets a keyboard dock and a USB adapter in the package, valuing at approximately $350 but for two weeks only students can grab this bundle for only $249.99.

The promotion runs until September 1st and will be available starting today from physical retail stores and online: these stores includes Best Buy, Tiger Direct, Fry’s Electronics, Amazon, and Costco. The bundle was put together specially for students uses, the physical keyboard for easy typing of the tablet and the USB adapter that supports plugging USB flash drives and other peripherals such as USB mice.

As a reminder, the Galaxy Tab 2 comes equipped with a 7-inch WSVGA PLS touchscreen display with a 1024×600 resolution, it comes with 8GB of built-in storage capacity and a microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB cards, a 3-megapixel camera on the rear, a front-facing VGA camera, WiFi 802.11 connectivity, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, an integrated IR port and it runs the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.
