Garmin has announced its handheld GPS devices which is aimed at user who love the outdoors, the eTrex Handheld GPS Devices. The Garmin eTrex Series are pocket-sized GPS devices and are an upgrade to a previous models that was released by the company. There are three new models released, the eTrex 10 that features a 2.2-inch monochrome display that is sunlight-readable and a worldwide basemap, the second is the eTrex 20 that features a larger 2.2-inch color display that is also sunlight readable, expandable memory, and it offers support for a wide range of detailed topographic and roadmaps, then finally there is the eTrex 30 that also features a 2.2-inch color display that is sunlight-readable as well and comes with all the features of the eTrex 20 plus a built-in 3-axis tilt-compensated electronic compass, a barometric altimeter and wireless data transfer. All three models comes with paperless geocaching, geocache locations which can all be downloaded using an USB connection. The Gramin eTrex 10 goes for $119.99, the eTrex 20 goes for $199.99 while the eTrex 30 goes for $299.99 each.
