Getac has announced that they have improved its B300 rugged notebook PC which will now come with higher performance, a much better battery life and more connectivity options that the previous option that was announced in September last year. The Getac B300 comes with the option of a 2.5GHz Core i5 or 2.3GHz Core i7 Processor, Intel HD 300 integrated graphics card, an option of a 13.3-inch 700 NITs or 1400 NITs touchscreen display and a dual-battery option that enables up to 30 hours of operation.
Other specifications includes Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, 4G mobile broadband technology, three USB 3.0 ports, two eSATA connectors, D-Sub and HDMI ports. The B300 is also shock resistant, water resistant and dust resistant and will operate at temperatures as low as -29 degree Celsius. The upgraded version of the Getac B300 will be launched in October this year, no pricing information was announced.
