Getac announced that they have now started shipping its new windows-powered E110 ruggedized Windows 7 tablet.
The new tablet comes equipped with a 10.1-inch Getac QuadraClear Sunlight readable TFT LCD HD display with a 1366×768 pixel resolution, it features MIL-STD 810G certification which means it’s able to stand up to extreme weather condition when compared to other tablets available on the market.
The new Getac E110 was designed for professionals who works in the field under extreme conditions, it is powered by an Intel Atom N2800 processor and a LifeSupport battery swappable technology. The tablet also features an external frequency antenna that enables 3G telecommunications, it supports Bluetooth 4.0 and an integrated 3-Megapixel auto-focus camera on the back panel.
The ruggedized tablet comes with an optional second smart card reader allows professionals such as medical personnel to save crucial time by simultaneously verifying their identity while they read in smart card data from accident victims. It is available now but no pricing details has been found on this ruggedized Windows 7 professional tablet.
