Like all other manufacturers, Gigabyte Technology is also showing off their new devices that runs the Windows 8 operating system.
Here’s the Gigabyte U2142 Convertible Ultrabook that will run Microsoft’s latest operating system and equipped with a rotating 11.6-inch touchscreen display with a 1366×768 pixel resolution, with this new screen the device can be converted into a Laptop or Touchscreen tablet.
The new Gigabyte U2142 Convertible Ultrabook is powered by an Intel Core i3/i5 ULV processor, up to 1TB of hard drive storage backed by a 256 GB solid state drive and up to 16GB of RAM. There are also other connectivity options including Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, optional 3G, USB 3.0 connectivity and an HDMI output for sharing videos and still images on a large screen.
Gigabyte plans to sell its new U2142 Convertible Ultrabook after Microsoft releases the new platform, and the Ultrabook will go for the starting price of $999.
