In addition to the W2071d and W2371d LED-backlit LCD Monitors, HP is also releasing two new IPS LCD displays, the 20-inch 2011xi and the 23-inch 2311xi which are being claimed as the company’s first comsumer displays to feature IPS panel technology.
The HP 2011xi gets a 20-inch LED-backlit display with a 1600×900 resolution while the 2311xi gets a 23-inch display with a Full HD 1920×1080 resolution. They both have similar display features such as 1000:1 static and 3,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratios, 250cd/m2 brightness and a 7ms response time.
They boasts mercury-free LED-backlighting and thanks the integrated IPS technology, the monitors provide wide viewing angle of 178-degree for both vertical and horizontal. They both comes with connectivity options including, DVI-D and VGA inputs but only the 2311xi gets HDMI input.
HP has already started selling both new monitors and they are priced at $169.99 and $239.99, respectively.
