In addition to the Pavilion dm3, HP also introduces the ENVY 13 and ENVY 15 Notebook PCs yesterday, the HP ENVY 13 boasts the brightest display in its class while the HP ENVY 15 is the company’s fastest consumer notebook PC ever.
The HP ENVY 13 features a 13.1-inch HP Radiance LCD display which has a 410-nit brightness and 80% color gamut. It is powered by Intel’s Core 2 Duo processor and ATI’s Switchable Graphics technology that dynamically switches between ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 discrete graphics and the Intel integrated graphics processor. It comes in a company body which is magnesium coated with aluminum. The display also offers a fast 8-millisecond response time, customers can view movies with TV-like performance.
The HP ENVY 15 features a 15.6-inch HP Brightview high-resolution LED backlit display and is powered by an Intel Core i7 processor, a dedicated ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4830 graphics with 1GB video memory, dual SSDin a RAID-0 setup and up to 16GB of DDR3 Memory.
There is also a Nightvision VGA webcam that is optimized for low-light or zero-light conditions, optional Slim Fit Extended-Life Notebook Battery which offers up to 7 hours of use while the ENVY 13’s optional Slim Fit Extended-Life Notebook Battery offers up to 18 hours of battery life.
The HP ENVY 13 and ENVY 15 are expected to be available in the United States on Oct. 18 with a starting price of $1,699 and $1,799, respectively.
