Hewlett Packard recently announced two 11-inch notebooks from its ProBook and Stream Series that were developed specially for use in the Education industry. The HP Stream 11 Pro is a low-cost notebook for use in the classroom, it comes equipped with 11.6-inch display and powered by an Intel Celeron 2840 Bay Trail processor while the Probook 11 is a more durable laptop with a rubber case and an 11-inch display.
The HP ProBook 11 will be available with an optional touchscreen display and offers support for processors up to Intel Core series, which could simply means that the base model probably comes with an Intel Celeron series processor. The Stream 11 Pro will be sold with a price tag starting at $199, HP also noted that there are plans to offer Education Edition versions of its new 10-inch Android and Windows tablets as well.
Both devices ships with a suite of tools called HP School Pack, which includes classroom management software for teachers, eBooks, audiobooks and a Dictionary software as well.
