HTC has announced the launch of another budget-friendly smartphone from its Desire series in India. The Desire 526G+ features entry-level specifications including a 4.7-inch qHD display, powered by an octa-core 1.7GHz processor with 1GB of RAM, and the option to choose between 8GB or 16GB internal storage and a microSD card slot for expansion.
Other specifications of the Desire 526G+ is support for dual SIM, an 8MP rear camera capable of recording 1080p video, a 2MP front-facing camera capable of recording 720p HD videos, it gets a 2000mAh battery, WiFi 802.11n and Bluetooth connectivity, plus it runs Android 4.4 KitKat with HTC Sense UI.
The Desire 526G+ will be available in China starting the last week of January, the 8GB model goes for Rs. 10,400 ($170) while the 16GB model goes for Rs. 11,400 ($185).
