At the Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona, Spain; HTC unveiled it’s Desire 816 budget-friendly smartphone.
HTC has unveiled its new Desire 816 Smartphone at the MWC 2014, which is expected to retail for less than $300. According to recent reports, the Desire 816 will retail for $293 in the United States and 213 Euros, and should be offered by all three carriers in China starting on March 18th.
The Desire 816 comes equipped with a 5.5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, its powered by a quad core 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and 1GB of RAM plus 8GB of built-in storage. The Desire also features a microSD card slot which supports cards up to 128GB cards.
There are dual cameras; a 5-megapixel camera upfront and a 13-megapixel camera on the back. The HTC Desire 816 comes with Android’s 4.4 KitKat with HTC Sense 5.5 User Interface, it supports 4G LTE and an 2,600 mAh battery.
