HTC is also at the Mobile World Congress 2012 where they unveiled the new One family of smartphones. The HTC One X is one of the members, it features polycarbonate unibody that was beautifully crafted with the ruggedness of metal but it is also super lightweight. The One X is powered by NVIDIA’s latest Tegra 3 1.5GHz 4-PLUS-1 quad-core processor, it has a 4.7-inch touchscreen display with a 1280x720p resolution plus it gets the protection of contoured Corning Gorilla Glass.
In addition to its quad-core processor, the One X also gets a high-performance 12-Core NVIDIA GPU for enhanced power saving and graphics performance, 1GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There’s an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with ImageSensor, BSI sensor, smart LED flash, autofocus, F2.0 aperture, 28mm wide angle, Full HD video recording and video stabilization, a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera for video calls as well.
The One X gets Beats Audio, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS Navigation, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, NFC support, microUSB port for mobile high-definition video link (MHL) for USB or HDMI connection and DLNA wireless sharing. The HTC One X supports quad-band GSM/EDGE and quad-band HSPA/WCDMA 3.5G mobile networks, runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with the Sense 4 UI.
AT&T will be getting a variant of the One X that is powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor but no exact release date or pricing information has been unveiled.
