HTC Rhyme Android Smartphone comes to Verizon Wireless

HTC Rhyme Android SmartphoneHTC has recently introduced its new HTC Rhyme Android Smartphone which will be available on the Verizon Wireless network, it is somewhat targeted at the female user with its design, plum color and a added Charm cable that has a little cube attached to it that will glow in the dark when there is a new message or an incoming call, it is ideal for ladies who carry their phones in a huge handbag so it will be easier to located in the bottom of the handbag. There is also a sports armband that works with the handset, it also ships with a Bluetooth headset, docking station and earphones.

Specification-wise, the HTC Rhyme comes with a 3.7-inch touchscreen display with a 800×480 pixel resolution, it is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm processor, there is a Adreno 2058 graphics card, it has 768MB of RAM which should deliver a fair enough user experience and 4GB of internal storage which can be expanded by added a memory card into the microSD card slot. There is a 5-megapixel camera on the rear of the device with LED-flash, there is also a front-facing VGA camera for video chats, plus a built-in software that enables the user to upload videos directly to Facebook, GPS navigation, WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity and Bluetooth as well.

The new HTC Rhyme comes with the Android 2.3 OS with the latest Sense UI as its interface, the Sense UI 3.5 plus it also has HTC Watch video streaming service which enables the user to enjoy their favorite movies while on-the-go. Verizon Wireless will start offering the new HTC Rhyme on September 29 plus it will be headed to carriers in Asia and Europe in October.
