We’ve heard few rumors about Huawei’s upcoming flagship device dubbed the Ascend P8 which we are all expected to get unveiled at the upcoming 2015 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, however this may not be so. The Huawei Ascend P8 has a launch date set for April 15th, at a press event in London, confirmed Huawei’s director of communications, Jerry Huang.
The company also launched its Ascend P6 device in London back in 2013, the Ascend P7 in Paris last year and they have selected Europe once again to launch same as its predecessor. The new high-end smartphone comes fitted with a 5.2-inch display with a 1920 x 1080 pixels, powered by a Kirin 930 processor with 3GB of RAM and 2600mAh battery to keep up productivity throughout the day.
The Ascend P8 is also expected to feature dual cameras; which includes a 13MP rear-facing camera with Optical Image Stabilization which is somewhat similar to the rumored Samsung Galaxy S6 20MP camera with OIS. We should have more details about the new handset leading up to its launch in April.
