In addition to its Ascend D quad smartphone claiming to be the world’s fastest yet, Huawei has also announced two entry-level android smartphones from its Ascend Y series at the Mobile World Congress 2012. They are the Ascend Y100 and Y200, which are equipped with a 2.8-inch touchscreen and 3.5-inch HVGA touchscreen display, respectively.
Both the Huawei Ascend Y100 and Y200 comes with a 3.2-megapixel camera, they both feature Bluetooth connectivity, GPS/AGPS navigation support and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n. The Ascend Y200 comes as the most advanced with an 800MHz processor, it has integrated SNS and HSDPA 7.2Mbps network support.
The Huawei Ascend Y100 and Y200 Android Smartphones comes with the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and they both support dual-band WCDMA HSDPA and quad-band GSM/EDGE network.
