Instagram went through some major overhaul of its terms of service last month which cost the photo sharing application to temporarily loose some of its active users, at the time Instagram wouldn’t say anything about its usage figures, but now it has some details on its monthly active users for the first time.
According to the company, its monthly active users now stands at 90 million which is approximately up 10% from December to January. Instagram’s Kevin Systrom says that the company “continues to see very strong growth around the world.”
The company continued to say that they’re responsible for 40 million photos per day, along with 8500 likes per second and 1000 comments per second. This is pretty impressive, there’s no break down between Android and iOS platforms but the company might soon give us more detailed information.
