JBL unveils its newest addition to its range of iPod and iPhone Docking Stations, the JBL On Stage Micro III and JBL On Stage IV. Both docks comes with a new industrial design called “Wave” and Odyssey aluminum-domed transducers that promise more accurate, high-frequency and four octaves of rich mid- to low frequency sound.
Both devices will play and charge your iPod or iPhone simultaneously, they can also be connected to iTunes on Mac or PC via USB 2.0. They also OCT (Optimized Compression Topology) a proprietary compression technology, ensuring clean, accurate sound at high output levels; COE (Computer-Optimized Equalization) for proper equalization; and a slipstream port design to optimizes bass output while minimizing distortion.
Both devices are powered by AC adapter or by six AA batteries for the On Stage IV or four AAA batteries. They are presently available on Amazon for a price of $149 for the On Stage IV and $99 for the On Stage III.
