Kakai, a California-based company recently showed off its new Knu Tablet prototype, the device comes with dual displays, two 14.1-inch capacitive touchscreen IPS displays both with 1440×900 pixel resolution and weighs approximately 5.5 pounds.
The Tablet will be powered by NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 Chip, runs a Linux OS and comes with 16GB of internal storage. The device is also compatible with WiFi, both screens will run on the same battery which offers up to 8 hours of operation. Other noteworthy specs includes support for Flash 10.1, access to full internet browsing and supports almost all types of e-Book formats, including PDF. The device is expected to be released in October 2010 and should be priced under $1000.
