In addition to its Wireless Storage Option, the Wi-Drive, Kingston has also announced it HyperX SSD which is its first Solid State Drive based on SandForce’s controller. It comes equipped with Sandforce’s SF-2281 controllers, it uses Intel 25nm compute NAND flash memory and is also available in 120GB and 240GB capacities. Users can also expect to get write speeds up to 480MBs, read speeds up to 525MBs and 4KB random read/write speeds up to 95,000/70,000 IOPS. It also features DuraClass technology which delivers world-class SSD durability and performance, there is also Advanced Wear-Leveling Technology that ensures individual flash memory blocks are consumed at a very balanced rate thus enabling maximum endurance. It is available in the 2.5-inch form and support S.M.A.R.T and Trim commands.
