Klipsch has announced its new AirPlay-enabled speakers called the Gallery G-17 Air which enables the owner to enjoy his/her music library wirelessly. The G-17 Air comes equipped with WiFi connectivity which gives the option to connect to home network and allow you to access and playback your iTunes libraries from your Apple iPod touch, iPhone and iPad running iOS 4.2 or above. It comes with a compact cabinet that allows the speaker to deliver quality sounds using the Tractrix Horn technology that was developed by Klipsch.
The G-17 Air is powered by separate, high-quality, digital amplifiers for each driver, there are two 10 watts aluminum diaphragm compression drivers for high frequencies and two 20 watts long-throw IMG woofers for low frequencies. It utilizes a USB input to make connections and charge your Apple devices as well as a 3.5mm audio jack for connecting to other media playing devices. The devices on a whole is lightweight so it shouldn’t be a trouble for travelers, it comes with a high gloss finish plus it can be wall-mounted. It is presently available on selected markets for the retail price of $549.99.
