Leica unveiled its new superzoom digital camera, the Leica V-Lux 2. The Leica V-Lux 2 features a 14.1 megapixel CMOS image sensor, equipped with a LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT 4.5 – 108 mm f/2.8 – 5.2 ASPH. lens and a 3-inch rotating LCD display. It also comes with 1080i video recording in AVCHD format and a wide variety of video functions as well.
Other features includes a 24x optical zoom, an integrated stereo microphone with an electronic wind noise filter, high-speed burst shooting capability of 11fps at full resolution of 14.1-Megapixel or 60 fps with a resolution of 2.8-Megapixel. The Leica V-Lux 2 should be available for purchase in October for a price of £675.
