The new Lenovo IdeaPad A1 Tablet that has been already available in China has finally gotten a proper launch and some officially pricing information as well. It comes equipped with a 7-inch LED-backlit touchscreen display with a 1024×600 pixel resolution, it is powered by a 1GHz OMAP 3622 single-core processor, 512MB of RAM, it comes with a 3-Megapixel rear-facing camera and front-facing VGA camera for video chatting. Other specifications includes WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS navigation, Bluetooth, micro USB port and a battery that promises up to seven hours of operation.
It will be known for its budget-friendly pricing, as a matter of fact it should be one of the cheapest brand-named tablets on the market today. It will be available in an 8GB version that will go for the price of $199, a 16GB version that will go for the price of $249 and a 32GB model that will go for $299. According to Lenovo, the new A1 Tablet should be available globally later this month.
