LG Introduces its first 84-inch 3D Ultra Definition (UD) TV

LG Electronics has plans to unveil the world’s largest 3D Ultra-Definition TV at the CES in Las Vegas which takes the spotlight from the 55-inch OLED TV Panel which is also set to debut at CES 2012. This 84-inch television is the very first of its kind, it was developed by combining LG’s industry-leading 3D technology and Smart TV function with UD display technology.

The new 3D UD TV features a superb picture quality with 8 million pixels, it features LG’s Slim and Narrow Bezel Design plus it delivers four times the resolution of a regular Full HD TV Panel at 3840×2160. It also comes with an array of features which includes a 3D viewing experience that wasn’t available on any other device than inside a movie theater.

It also comes with 3D Depth Control allowing the user to customize their viewing experience by controlling the 3D effects, it has 3D Sound Zooming that delivers stunning surround sound unlike all the best home theater systems presently available on the market. The 84-inch TV also has LG’s Smart TV ecosystem on it which gives access to over 1200 apps as well as access to premium content services like 3D Zone where the user can choose from a variety of 3D Movies.

Other advances in technology includes an imbedded 2D to 3D conversion engine which makes 3D content always available, and it also bundled with the new LG Magic Remote that recognizes four different types of command input; Voice Recognition, Wheel, Magic Gesture and Point.
