LG is about to launch a new Android-Powered Smartphone by the name of the LG Ally. The Ally comes with a 3.2-inch Touchscreen Display and has a side-slide QWERTY Keyboard. It will be powered by a 1GHz SnapDragon Processor, Android 2.1 OS and carries support for 3G, GPS Navigation and WiFi connectivity.
LG began running an Iron Man 2-themed TV commercial featuring the Ally. A standard suite of software, including Gmail, YouTube, Google Maps is also included. The LG Ally will be introduced on May 20, but its manufacturer still has yet to say what wireless carrier is going to be offering it. According to BrightHand, unconfirmed sources say it will be going to Verizon Wireless.
