LG Escape Dual-Core LTE Smartphone headed to AT&T

AT&T has announced the newest LTE Smartphone which will be available to customers really soon, it is the LG Escape, a dual-core smartphone that runs the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and will be available in AT&T stores next week.

The LG Escape comes equipped with a 4.3-inch qHD IPS touchscreen display, it is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, it will get 4GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot that supports cards up to 32GB. The phone runs a custom version of Android 4.0 that comes with QuickMemo and several other LG user interface features.

AT&T has also included a new browser toolbar extension that will appear on all Android phones released on the network. There is the Skyfire Horizon toolbar extension which provides direct links to Facebook, Twitter, Share URL and other features.

It has a 5-Megapixel camera on the rear of the device and a time catch shot, “cheese shutter,” and different shot modes including Normal, HDR, Continuous and Panorama. AT&T plans to release the new LG Escape on September 16 for the price of $49.99 on a two-year agreement.
