LG is making a come back in the tablet market with the launch of its new LG G Pad 8.3 Android Tablet on the US Market. LG plans to sell the new 8.3-inch tablet in the U.S. for a suggested market price of $349.99. The LG G Pad comes equipped with an 8.3-inch IPS display with a 1080p HD resolution, its powered by a 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm SnapDragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot that supports cards up to 64GB.
The G Pad runs Google’s Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system, it has a 5-megapixel camera and comes pre-loaded with LG’s software including; Quick Memo, QSlide Function, and Slide Aside. There’s a QPair function that will connect with an LG phone to send and receive text messages, transfer notes with QuickMemo, tethering/mobile hotspot through the phone, and access recent apps that appear on both phone and tablet.
LG has already started selling the G Pad in the U.S. via BestBuy and it should be available in other retail stores nationwide starting on November 3rd.
