LG G2 gets Android Lollipop in South Korea

LG is now rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update to users of the LG G2 Smartphone with carrier SK Telecom and LG U+ in South Korea. The software update is currently being rolled out in the region and comes with the V30D version.

Owners of the LG G2 in this region might have to wait a few days for the notifications to start showing up on their devices, and according to reports the new update will bring a fresh install of the Android 5.0 operating system known as “Lollipop” and a host of improvements and new features as well.

The update will bring an all new design with a different look and smooth animations, improved lock screen, notifications, ART runtime, security enhancements and much more. Owners who are impatient can check for the update manually by simply going to settings on their device. It’s uncertain when the international variants of the handset is expected to get the Android 5.0 Lollipop update.
