LG has announced that they will kick off the sales of its Lifeband Touch smart wearable device on the global market. The company announced that the wearable health device will go on sale starting in North America this weekend.
The Lifeband Touch was designed for active users, giving them access to data so they can track a workout and adjust their workout plans accordingly. It features a small 0.9-inch OLED screen and real-time access to all sorts of fitness data, plus it has a 90mAh internal battery capable of delivering up to five days of usage from a single charge.
The wearable device from LG is capable of connecting to devices running Android and iOS with interaction with the LG Fitness app, MyFitnessPal, Runkeeper, and MapMyFitness. The device also has a clip on heart rate earphones that can measure blood flow through the ears.
After the North America launch, it will be available in the UK, Spain, Italy, and Australia in three different band sizes. However we have no idea what it will cost once released this weekend.
