Since the LG Optimus 3D Cube will only be available on the Korean Market, LG has another version called the Optimus 3D MAX that will be released on the international market. The 3D MAX is basically a variant of the 3D Cube and features almost the same specifications which includes a 4.3-inch glasses-free 3D touchscreen display with Corning Gorilla Glass, it will be powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor and runs the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.
The new Optimus 3D MAX Android Smartphone is equipped with dual rear-facing 5-megapixel camera capable of capturing still images. The Optimus 3D MAX gets only 8GB of on-board storage unlike its Korean brother, the Optimus 3D Cube that gets double the amount of storage at 16GB. The 3D MAX also features NFC support with LG Tag+ that enable the device to automatically change its profile with the swipe of a tag.
Using the 3D converter, the phone can convert Google Earth, Google Maps and other road views into 3D. It has an built-in video editing function, it supports GPS, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity plus it works with HSPA+ 21Mbps mobile network.
The LG Optimus 3D MAX Android Smartphone has HDMI connection via MHL and supports DLNA wireless connection, it will be shipped with Android 2.3 but the handset will get the Android 4.0 update later.
