LG has officially announced its new Optimus Black Android Smartphone in South Korea. The handset was first announced back at the CES in January and will carry the model name LG-KU5900 and runs the Android 2.2 Froyo OS. It comes with a 4-inch WVGA NOVA Touchscreen display which looks similar to the screen in the LG Optimus Big that was also announced for South Korea a few days back. It has a 5-megapixel camera with video recording, autofocus and flash, an integrated DMB, WiFi, Bluetooth and an ultra slim body that measures a mere 9.2mm and weighs at approximately 112g. No pricing information on the LG Optimus Black has been found nor there was not any information stating when it would hit the shores of the US.
