LG has a new smartphone from its Optimus line that will be available from AT&T and Sprint in the US. The new quad-core Optimus G is the first smartphone to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 quad-core processor that runs at 1.5GHz.
The LG Optimus G comes equipped with a 4.7-inch IPS+ display, it has 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. AT&T unveiled that the new smartphone will support its LTE network and HSPA+ 4G networks. It features an 8-Megapixel camera with zero shutter lag plus the ability to capture photos and videos simultaneously. It also has the Time Catch feature that will capture an image right before the camera button is tapped.
While the AT&T version of the handset gets an 8-Megapixel camera, Sprint’s version will be a 13-megapixel shooter on the rear. The handset will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich right out the box
