LG Electronics has announced the launch of the Optimus LTE Smartphone that goes by the model name LU6200 on its home market. The new LG Optimus LTE smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Processor and boasts a 4.5-inch True HD IPS Touchscreen display with a 1280×720 pixel resolution. The handset measures 132.9 x 67.9 x 10.4 mm and weighs 135 grams, the Optimus LTE comes with 4GB of built-in storage, 1GB of RAM and a microSD card slot with a 16GB card included.
Other specifications includes an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash, it also comes with a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video chats, it supports WiFi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity, WiFi Direct and DLNA support as well. It runs the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, it has an HDMI output and it comes with a 1,830 mAh battery.
