LG V40 ThinQ gets Android Pie Update in India

Customers using the LG V40 ThinQ Smartphone in India should start receiving the Android 9 Pie update.

The update for the Indian market comes only days after LG released the update in the United States, Europe, and South Korea.

The OS update is being delivered via OTA and using will be able to download and install using a WiFi connection or mobile data as long as your connection is not as slow as 2G.

Android 9 Pie update for the LG V40 ThinQ comes with build number PKQ1.190202.001  and is approximately 1.5GB in size, hence, why you need to be on a good connection before attempting to download and install.

Roll out has already begun and should reach all V40 ThinQ operational on the Indian market.
