LG unveiled their new Optimus LTE II smartphone in Korea a while back and we also heard rumors that the handset would eventually make it’s way onto the US market. Now we have reasons to believe the release date is imminent as a handset with the model name (LG VS930) was spotted at the FCC.
According to the guys over at Engadget, they believe that LG VS930 is possibly the Verzion version of the LG Optimus LTE II, even thought it yet to be confirmed by LG. The LG Optimus LTE2 comes equipped with a 4.7-inch True HD IPS touchscreen display, it is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and 2GB of RAM.
The Optimus LTE II comes with an 8-Megapixel camera on the rear, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera and there’s a 2,150 mAh battery which should deliver enough power for operations up to a full day. It comes with the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich pre-loaded with LG’s new Optimus UI 3.0. As soon as the information is confirmed by LG we will keep you guys updated.
