LG’s new XF1 Multimedia Hard Drive

XF1 Multimedia Hard Drive
LG has just announced the XF1 Multimedia Hard Drive which is the company’s first Multimedia Hard Drive that measures just 20.8mm thick. The LG XF1 features a gorgeous gloss-black finish with smooth curves and when you get on the inside you will find out that it comes with a 500GB storage capacity and a codec decoder that only reads exclusively FAT32 and NTFS. Knowing that FAT32 is associated to Windows that means the XF1 is not compatible with Mac systems.

Other specs of the LG XF1 is the mini-USB jack, a composite AV output and the HDMI connector which allows users to stream HD media straight to your HDTV. The LG XF1 supports media files such as OGG Vobis, AC3, WMV, MKV, MPEG-2, DivX and MPEG-4 in HD.
