Apple has slashed the price of its 13-inch MacBook Air to a starting price of $1099. There are two variants available; the 128GB and the 256GB SSD Storage variant.
In addition to the price reduction, Apple is also offering customers a refund of up to $1400 when an eligible computer is traded in. If neither of the storage options tickles your fancy, then each customer has the option to customize their MacBook Air with up to 1TB of SSD storage, 16GB of RAM and even a backlit keyboard.
MacBook Air Specs
The MacBook Air features a 13.3-inch LED-backlit Retina display with a 2560 x 1600 native resolution and backed by true tone technology.
Powered by an Intel 1.6GHz Core i5 processor with dual-cores and Turbo Boost capable of achieving 3.6GHz. The based-variant of the 13.3-inch MacBook Air comes with only 128GB of SSD storage, however, there’s the option to get up to 1TB SSD and 16GB DDR3 of memory.
Other noteworthy technical specifications include an integrated Touch ID sensor, a 49.9-watt-hour battery built-in that delivers up to 12 hours of web browsing or 13 hours of movie playback.
There are multiple connectivity options such as WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, two Thunderbolt 3 ports with support for charging, DisplayPort and generation 2 USB-C.
The new Apple MacBook is available in three colors; Space Gray, Gold and Silver.
Like most MacBook Air laptops, the new MacBook also comes with a wide array of accessibility features which are intended to help users with disabilities.
